Diesel, looking incredible for being 46 years of age, posted the above training video to his Facebook page celebrating “Our Global 50 million !!!” It shows the Fast star training with the incredible Ong Bak action star Tony Jaa for the upcoming Fast and the Furious 7, which will be directed by James Wan. Jaa isn’t the only fresh face added to the still-revving series. Djimon Hounsou, Kurt Russell and THIS bad-ass actor, revealed in the closing moments of the most recent Fast movie. (Don’t click that link if you haven’t seen Fast 6 yet!)
The above clip shows how much effort goes into training behind the scenes so amazing Fastfights can end up looking like these:
Hours must be spent kicking a ball before you can kick Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, it seems.
What do we know about Fast & Furious 7? We believe it will take place on the Fast timeline after Tokyo Drift. The gang has lost Han (Sung Kang), whose death is part of a vengeance subplot that brings the aforementioned nemesis into the fold. Diesel teases that after international stops in the various sequels, the franchise will return to its Los Angeles roots, while Universal believes that part seven will be the kickoff to a whole new Fast trilogy that will extend through part nine. By the time he’s finished with that, Diesel will be well into his fifties. Still kicking ass? If the above clip is any indication, that’s be a safe bet.
